Greetings, Katherine

Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement. I hope that my experience will inspire those who have faced similar situations. They are NOT alone. Someday their tears will stop flowing too.

At first, healing was difficult for me. Even when I began writing my story a while back, every word brought tears to my eyes. I had a hard time holding back tears.

Healing can feel like a wound to some of us. It may look like everything is fine outside, but the inside still hurts. Some hurts are slow to heal, especially if you try to take care of it yourself.

At the age of four, my mother passed away. It was a very confusing time for me. There was no one available to answer my questions. I ended up in foster care with strangers as a result.

I found bits and pieces of information about my history years later. My learning process is still ongoing. In the past, I have often prayed to God to stop my tears from flowing. As a result of God's grace, I am now at a place where I can write my story without tears. The journey to forgiveness was so challenging.

Nevertheless, I forgive my father. It feels good to get rid of all negative feelings. Forgiveness is not just for the person who hurt you but also for yourself. Our healing depends on it.

Once again, thank you, Katherine.

HUGS!

Best Regards
